Aloha is Love

If I talk with fancy phrases and high concepts

but have noAloha, I am just making more noise

Even if I'm able to foretell the future

even if I understand esoteric mysteries

or possess amazing powers,

even if I compfehend tremendous knowledge

if I have no aloha, it all means nothing.

If I give away everything

and live the life of an ascetic,

but have no aloha, nothing is gained.  

Aloha is love, aloha is patient and kind

Aloha isn't proud, or jealous, envious or rude

Aloha loves what is right and pono

 and takes no joy in forms of wrongdoing

Aloha endures throughout time

Aloha is never ending.

As imperfect knowledge and old prophecies pass away

Aloha continues to endure

When I was a child, I naturally embraced childish ways,

but as I matured, I understood more fully

and now embrace aloha

The greatest of all qualities one can carry in the heart

is aloha

Practice aloha with all your heart

Ever enduring and never ending

Aloha is Love
